Illustration

Illustration can mean many things. I consider it any time I have to draw by hand and create an image from scratch. An illustration is usually a visual in service to a message.   

These are examlpes of cover illustrations. Each one of these images represents the theme of the issue or book. Often elements and colors from these illustrations were used throughout the magazine as a thematic device.  

I am a silk screen printmaker. I enjoy the process of illustrating and hand printing pieces of art.
