Routine Immunization
Strengthening Program (RISP)
In 2026, I contracted with PATH, a global health organization based in Seattle, to create a overall design and layout across nine informational briefs on the results of the Routine Immunization Strengthening Program. This program was launched by the Gates Foundation in 2019 to improve children's immunization in areas with low vaccination coverage, high risk of disease, conflict, and humanitarian challenges.
Design Process
The client had multiple presentations, text summary documents, and charts made by various groups from around the world. The challenge was to take these elements and create a family of PDFs that can work together as a whole or each one as a stand alone document.
I created a design system that scales across all of the documents, including maps, charts, tables, pull quotes, and timelines. Using the data and complicated content, I highlighted the culmination of work with a well-designed and accessible family of PDFs. I am proud of the hierarchy of visual elements within these briefs and how they were received within the global health community.
